Let's peel back these layers!

juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

new quilt for a new niece

Little, tiny 1" square pieces of brightly colored, varied fabrics set against white. My thinking in using really big prints in these little, tiny spaces was that each square would be unique, no two would exactly repeat.

Yay! We LOVE it! It's so perfect for little K. Thank you! So many people that have seen it pick it up to study it and then comment on how great it looks. The photos here don't do it full justice, because the quilting that curves around the squares is a nice touch too. Love you!
